A low-poly illustrated portrait of Keith Palmer-Hughes

I’m an amateur photographer who loves to travel, and the only time I really make to shoot is when I’m away. So I suppose I’m a travel photographer by accident more than by intent.

I’ve been at this for about fifteen years, give or take a long gap in the middle. I shot a wedding for a family member, then didn’t pick up a camera again for a few years before coming back to it.

I take photos for myself. I’ll shoot hundreds, sometimes thousands, on a single trip, and every now and then one of them turns out to be worth sharing. That’s what this is for.

Farshot is where I keep the keepers. I tried a travel blog first, but it was so much effort that it put me off posting at all, so I stripped it back to the only part I cared about: the photographs. No trips, no gear, no commentary. Just the frames that made the cut. I’ll keep adding work from past and present travels, so it should grow over time.

Feel free to borrow any of these. I’m not precious about it. Honestly, I’d be thrilled you thought one was good enough to use somewhere other than here. A credit is welcome if you fancy it, but it isn’t a condition.

On Instagram as @keifeh.uk, though I don’t post there much. It’s also the best way to reach me.
